AVONDALE, PA – On Thursday, April 3rd, 2008, the Stroud Water Research Center, will present Liz Walker, the co-founder and executive director of EcoVillage at Ithaca (EVI). Ms. Walker’s lecture, entitled, EcoVillages: Pioneering a Sustainable Future by Conserving Land, Water, and Fossil Fuels, details why EVI has been described as a living laboratory and a model for sustainability projects around the world. http://www.ecovillage.ithaca.ny.us
