Upstream Festival
'A Sense of Wonder'
The fifth annual UpStream Festival will he held rain or shine on Saturday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Volunteers needed!
The festival is a fun and informative day with friends and family in the experimental watershed of the Stroud Center. "A Sense of Wonder" is this year's theme, and we will be featuring the music of John Flynn who can be heard on WXPN radio and the show Kids' Corner. Enjoy a full day of bird and native plant walks, native plant sale, workshops, crafts & projects, storytelling, book sale and tours of the Center's laboratories, all of which celebrate the sense of wonder we all have for our natural world. Dress for the weather! $5 per car.
The Upstream Festival is sponsored by: Albert's Organics; Annie's Homegrown; Chester County Press; Pyle's Home & Supply; Natural Landscapes; and North Creek Nurseries.
A special thanks to Dave Carter and Tracy Grammer and all the Turtledove Concert 'Hors d'oeuvres volunteers'.
A red-tailed hawk showed off his plumage at last year's Upstream Festival. The hawk helps promote work of the Tristate Bird Rescue organization of Delaware.
