Internships at the Stroud Water Research Center
The Stroud Water Research Center offers internship opportunities to undergraduate students as an integral part of its mission to advance the knowledge of freshwater ecosystems through interdisciplinary research into all aspects of streams, rivers and their watersheds. Senior scientists at the Center hire students to work in their laboratories either as participants in a National Science Foundation funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program or as field and laboratory assistants. Research programs in Entomology, Organic and Isotope Geochemistry, Ecosystems, and Biogeochemistry offer successful candidates an opportunity to contribute to a research project within an array of funded programs that focus on the biology, chemistry, or hydrology of stream and river ecosystems.
