About the Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival
The South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL) started the Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival to build community within the Yuba Watershed and to explore environmental issues through the exciting and influential medium of film. This film tour, now the largest of its kind in the United States, is building a network of grassroots organizations connected by a common goal — to use film to educate, inspire and promote environmental stewardship. For more information about Wild and Scenic's home festival or SYRCL, go to: www.wildandscenicfilmfestival.org and www.yubariver.org

Curt Ellis and Ian Woolfe, the filmmakers of KING CORN, have returned to Iowa with a new mission: to investigate the environmental impact their acre of corn has had on the people and places downstream. In a journey that extends from the American heartland to the Gulf of Mexico, the guys trade their combine for a canoe and set out to see the big world their little acre of corn has touched.
